About the Recipe
WALT - Describe, compare and order durations of events and reads half- and quarter- hour time using magnetic balls on a clockface.
WALF - Students to demonstrate an understanding of time concepts by accurately representing the time on the clock faces using magnetic balls.
Ingredients
Time Cards
4 Balls (Blue & Red)
Clock face printout
Preparation
(1)
Player 1 - Select a time card.
Player 2 - Start the timer.
(2)
Player 1 - Hold 2 balls under the table using them to guide the position of the balls on top of the table.
(3)
Player 1 - Correctly position the balls to match the time card.
Blue ball = Minutes Hand
Red ball = Hour Hand
(4)
Player 2 - Stop the timer and write down the time.
(5)
