WALT - Combine and represent quantities using magnetic balls, operational squares
and dice.
WILF - Use magnetic balls and operational squares to create simple addition and subtraction equations.
Write down the answers on a whiteboard after each equation.

Materials

  • 2 or more dice

  • Stopwatch

  • Pen/Marker

  • Paper/Whiteboard

Steps

(1)

Player 1 - Roll 2 Dice.

Player 2 - Start the Timer.

(2)

Player 2 - Write down the numbers shown on the dice.


(3)

Player 1 - Create an Addition problem with the numbers


(4)

Player 1 - Find the Mojo ball which represents the answer.


(5)

Player 2 - Stop the timer & write down the time.


(6)
